Dimension Data CEO Alan Turnley-Jones explains the company’s rebranding to NTT Data

Turnley-Jones held multiple managerial roles at BCX in the 1990s before joining Dimension Data in 1999. Turnley-Jones also held other roles at Dimension Data, such as Services Executive and Managed Cloud and Infrastructure Services Executive, before taking over the reins as CEO in 2022. Towards the end of 2023, Dimension Data announced that after 40 years, it would be changing its name to NTT Data starting 1 April 2024. Turnley-Jones joins Aki Anastasiou to discuss the motivations behind this move. He explains how the company will benefit from this change while maintaining the legacy Dimension Data has built in South Africa over the last few decades. Turnley-Jones also unpacks the digital trends he expects to see in 2024 and explains how Dimension Data will adapt to these changes. He talks about the sustainability of Dimension Data’s data centres before concluding by revealing the company’s plans for 2024.
